One promising pathway to making accessible and inclusive music education a reality is Universal Design for Learning (UDL), an approach to education that provides guidelines for including, empowering, and motivating all students. Join Elise Hackl for a three-part PD series on using UDL and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in the music classroom.

This PD series includes two 30-minute PD Bites providing an Introduction and Conversation on the topic, and a capstone 60-minute Pedagogical Perspective, where you will be guided through the process of writing a lesson plan.

This workshop series counts as two hours of PD time. Certificates are available upon completion of each series component.
